Ballet Syllabus Certificate
We are so thrilled to have you participating this term!
The Ballet Syllabus Certificate course aims to educate and empower ballet teachers to create their own robust and well-rounded ballet syllabi for Level 1 students, typically ages 6-9 years old. Course leaders share the tools, resources, and one-on-one feedback necessary for teachers to feel confident in planning a curriculum and syllabus for their students. Courses are free for all participants.
This e-course is divided into two parts: Syllabus Tools (Weeks 1-6) and Syllabus Building (Weeks 7-12). Assignments will vary from reading texts, to watching videos, to participating in live discussions, to attending live ballet classes, and more.
Part 1 - Syllabus Tools: Participants will learn a brief ballet history, class management skills, level-specific ballet vocabulary, technique feedback and stretching tips, and musicality.
Part 2 - Syllabus Building: Participants will be taken through the creation of their full-year ballet syllabus for their Level 1 students.
